Starting with Revolution Slider
Before using Revolution Slider WordPress Plugin, you must install this plugin on your WordPress site. As soon as you activate any of our Visualmodo WordPress themes on your site, you will see a message on the top of your WordPress dashboard asking you to click and install the plugin on your WordPress. It is just a one-click installation.

To place it on a page, please look at this document to see how the plugin works and build your slider. After having your slider build-in, you will need to add it to your page simple, and this can be done in several ways:
- Go to the page that you want to apply for the slider show and load the editor by, wp-dashboard > pages > edit page > scroll the page down until you see a field called “Options” > in Options field click on “Layout” and on “Layout Header Title” select ‘Revolution Slider” and select the slider below as is showed on the attached image above.

Apply the Revolution Slider Plugin Slideshow in the Middle of the Page
To add a slideshow in the middle of your page, you must add a page builder element called ‘Revolution slider.’

Make your navigation menu overlay the slider
You can make a transparent header in the page ‘options’ area. On the settings field, you will see options for your menu colors style if you want to overlay.
A menu ‘Overlay’ will make the header image or slider enter the menu. You can select the menu colors according to your pictures or slider header colors to better show your navigation menu.
Apply Slider Show in a Sidebar: Revolution Slider Plugin Guide
Finally, you need to log in on your WordPress dashboard to add the slide show in a sidebar. Go to ‘Appearance’ > Widgets. On this page, you will need to select the revolution slider widget. Drag this on the sidebar tab. Drop this widget on the account and choose the slideshow you want to show on the sidebar.

How to Import Visualmodo WordPress Themes Demonstrative Sliders on the Revolution Slider Plugin?
About the demo slider, you have a slider file in the big theme folder that you download, open it, open the ‘demo content’ file, open the ‘sliders’ folder, and extract the ‘home.zip’ or ‘sliderName.zip’ file; however you need to understand, the slider doesn’t have any relation to the theme.

How To Export a Slider For Beginners in Revolution Slider Plugin
To export a slider using the Revolution Slider WordPress plugin, you can follow these steps:
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Go to “Slider Revolution” in the left-hand menu. Ensure the plugin is installed and activated if you don’t see it.
- You will see a list of your sliders in the Slider Revolution interface. Locate the slider you want to export and hover your mouse over it.
- Click on the “Export Slider” option below the slider name.
- A dialog box will appear with export options. By default, the “Export Slider” option will be selected. You can include or exclude slider elements like images, layers, or global settings.
- Select the desired export options, then click the “Export Slider” button.
- The slider will be exported as a .zip file to your computer. Please save the file in a location where you can easily find it.

How To Use Revolution Slider Plugin Layers?
To use layers in the Revolution Slider WordPress plugin, follow these steps:
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Go to “Slider Revolution” in the left-hand menu. Ensure the plugin is installed and activated if you don’t see it.
- In the Slider Revolution interface, locate the slider where you want to add layers and click the “Edit Slider” button for that particular slider.
- Once inside the slider editor, you’ll see a list of slides on the left-hand side. Click on the drop where you want to add the layers.
- In the slide editor, you’ll see various tabs for different settings. Click on the “Layers” tab.
- On the “Layers” tab, you’ll see a timeline-based editor where you can manage and add layers to your slide.
- Click the “+ Layer” button above the timeline to add a new layer.
- A pop-up window will appear, offering various types of layers you can add. Please choose the desired layer type (text, image, video, button, etc.) and click on it.
- A new layer will be added to the timeline. You can customize the layer by selecting it in the timeline and modifying its settings in the right-hand panel.
- You can customize various aspects of the layer, such as content, position, animations, styles, and more. Use the options and settings to make the coating look and behave as desired.
- To rearrange the layers, click and drag them in the timeline. Layers positioned higher in the timeline appear above layers positioned lower.
- To preview your slide with the layers, click the “Preview Slide” button at the editor’s top.
- Once satisfied with your layers, click the “Save Slide” button to save your modifications.
- Finally, click on the “Update” button in the top-right corner of the slider editor to save the changes to your slider.
