  2. Secondly, Copy the URL. It should start with “HTTP://”
  3. Write the text you want to be a hyperlink. It is good to be descriptive and avoid the phrase “click here”
  4. Highlight the text you want to turn into a hyperlink.
  5. Click the chain-link icon in Gutenberg, it looks like this

  7. Finally, click the “enter” button that looks like this

Add a Link in WordPress Classic Editor

  1. Firstly, go to the web page you want to link to.
