How to install WordPress plugins on your site?
In WordPress 2.7 and above, you can install plug-ins directly from the admin area. So, download the plugin to your computer, log in to your WP admin area and go to Plugins > Add New.
Alternatively, Browse to the plugin archive and select it. Then click Install Now, and the plugin will be ready and working shortly. In addition, remember to click on the ‘activate’ button, it will redirect you to the ‘plugins’ list page on your site.
The removal is also straightforward in most cases. So, remove the directory for the plugin you want to uninstall, and it will automatically deactivate.

Install plugins from WordPress Upload
Paid WordPress plugins are not present in the WordPress plugin directory. Therefore, these plugins cannot be installed using the first method.
That’s why WP has the Upload method to install such plugins. We will show you how to install the WP plugin using the upload option in the admin area.
Firstly, you need to download the plugin from the source (which will be a zip file). Secondly, you must go to the WordPress admin area and visit Plugins » Add New page. After that, click on the Upload Plugin button on top of the page, select the .zip file com your folders and upload/activate it.
Via FTP
To install WordPress plugins, you must put the tool files into the wp-content/plugins directory via FTP or host file manager.
