In today’s Visualmodo blog interview, we talked to Samantha, the seller manager at Endurance International Group NewFold Digital (MOJO Marketplace). She’s the person that manages all the MOJO marketplace sellers/developers community. Once she’s on this operational and organizational part, she has amazing knowledge that we’ll explore in this interview.
What is Newfold History?
Newfold Digital (formerly Endurance International Group (EIG) and BizLand, and merged with Web.com in 2021), is a technology company hosting web-based services. The corporation was founded in 1997 and is based in Burlington, Massachusetts, United States. It increased in size by taking in a large number of smaller companies, which it still operates under the original brand names while moving its technology to India.
In 2011, Endurance was sold to Accel-KKR Warburg Pincus and GS Capital Partners for around $975 million. In September 2013, the company announced it intended to raise $400 million in an initial public offering on the NASDAQ.
The company chose to have its stock listed with the ticker symbol EIGI. It was made public in October of 2013, raising $252 million, and the money was split between the public at $12 each. This was less than the company’s intended goal of $400 million.
As the largest web hosting service on the Internet, the company differed from other large hosting companies like Rackspace, GoDaddy, or 1&1 Ionos. The company has diversified its hosting and related businesses through numerous acquisitions. Check the interview, we talked to Samantha, the seller manager at Endurance International Group, MOJO Marketplace & NewFold digital.
